The Waters House at Pleasant Fields is a lovely nineteenth-century Italianate farmhouse that has been beautifully restored to provide a historic setting for your event needs. Its cozy ambiance is ideally suited for intimate social gatherings and the perfect location for lectures and corporate/group meetings. The downstairs foyer, library and galleries can be arranged to accommodate a variety of functions including classroom or theater style conferences, formal or buffet style dining, cocktail receptions and dancing.
Permitted uses include small corporate or group meetings, conferences, luncheons, teas, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and weddings. All functions will be individually evaluated by the Waters House Site Administrator and approved or disapproved on the basis of property, scheduling, staffing needs, availability, and the physical well-being of the house. No fundraisers are allowed except for qualified 501(c)(3) organizations with the approval of the Site Administrator. The Executive Director will have the final approval on any events that require extraordinary or unusual arrangements.
Strict adherence to the maximum capacities of the Waters House facility is enforced in compliance with fire regulations. The first floor foyer, library and galleries can accommodate 80 guests seated at tables and 125 guests standing. This number does not include caterers, speakers or entertainers. At the renter's expense, a tent may be set up on the lawn to increase capacity. Before signing the letter of agreement, determination of the capacity of the grounds will be made.
All food and drink consumed at the Waters House at Pleasant Fields must be provided by a licensed professional caterer. For small groups (40 people or less), coffee, tea and previously prepared light refreshments may be served by the organization.

Reservations are made by signing a Rental Agreement and paying the required security deposit and reservation deposit (50% of rental fee). You may also request a no obligation ten-day hold for your desired date.
