For Our VolunteersReciprocal Tour Opportunities The Historic House Museum Consortium of Washington DC (of which MCHS is a member) has started a reciprocal tour offer for staff and volunteers of participating museums. If you're interested in learning more about this opportunity, talk to Taylor or Joanna - we have the list of participants, and three copies of the membership card which we can loan out to you as needed. The MCHS Genealogy Club is making a cookbook! Sales will benefit the Montgomery County Historical Society. This great gift idea will be available in November 2012 – just in time for the holidays. Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities Docents are needed at the Beall-Dawson House/Stonestreet Museum for the following May dates: Saturday, 5/12 and Wednesday, 5/23 Upcoming School Programs: Changes: Wednesday 5/23 , Thursday 5/24, and Thursday, 5/31. We need a second floor docent and clothing docent for the 5/23 program.
