MONTGOMERY COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY

MISSION STATEMENT

JUNE 2005

The Montgomery County Historical Society (MCHS) is dedicated

to encouraging the County's residents and the public at large

to discover their common heritage. To achieve this the Society

uses its historic resources (historic buildings, artifact and library collections, educational programs) and fosters partnerships with others to create a shared sense of place in a changing environment.

MCHS is a membership organization. All levels of membership have a variety of benefits--the most important of which is being recognized as a supporter of local and regional history. Memberships are available in the following categories:

Basic, $35; Century Circle, $100; Heritage Circle, $250; Life, $1,000. Categories may apply to either individuals or families. Corporate Sponsorships are available at $500 annually.
