Montgomery County History Day 2012 - Judges Needed!

Our 13th annual History Day Competition has been scheduled! The 2012 contest will be held Saturday, March 17, at Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville.  Over 300 students participated in the county competition last year, 13 projects went on to receive prizes at the state level, and 3 projects were finalists at the National History Day competition in June. Judges are a vital part of the History Day experience at all levels, by not only helping to determine the students who move up to the state competition, but also providing constructive feedback on the students’ projects. Be a part of History by volunteering as a judge for Montgomery County History Day!

 What you bring: Your appreciation for history; your ability to provide constructive feedback to participants.

 What we provide: All of the materials necessary for your judging experience, including training and orientation. We also have breakfast and lunch for you!
